Discover Sidr Malaki jujube honey, an exceptional product from Wadi Daw'an, in the Hadramawt region of Yemen. Considered one of the best honeys in the world, it is harvested from Sidr trees growing in the wild and rich lands of the desert regions of Yemen.

The bees forage only for nectar from the Sidr, the Arabic name for the jujube tree, thus giving rise to a rare, pure and natural monofloral honey, nicknamed "the gold of Yemen". The limited harvest due to drought and hard-to-reach honeycombs makes this honey a very popular and expensive product.

flavor and appearance

Sidr Malaki honey is distinguished by its intense, caramelized taste and its creamy, liquid consistency. Its golden color varies according to the harvest and never crystallizes.

Health Benefits

Honey from Yemen is recognized for its energizing, antioxidant and antibacterial properties. It offers many benefits, including:

  • Strengthening of the immune system
  • Treatment of ulcers
  • Detoxification of the liver and digestive system
  • Fight against constipation
  • Support for people with epilepsy (in combination with other plants)
  • Relief of respiratory infections
  • Indication in case of eye diseases
  • Healing of burns and infected or surgical wounds

Yemeni beekeepers use traditional methods to maintain hives and extract honey without the use of machinery, special tools or chemicals.

To preserve the taste and therapeutic qualities of jujube honey, store it at room temperature (10 to 40 degrees) and away from moisture. Do not expose it to direct sunlight and avoid storing it in a place that is too cool to prevent crystallization.

Warning: Do not give this honey to a child under 2 years of age as a precaution and avoid giving it to infants.

PS: The therapeutic qualities of jujube honey do not replace a medical consultation.
